Scratch & Dent Repair

Furniture, pet claws and dropped objects leave marks. Small scratches can be filled or buffed away, deeper gouges can be repaired with color-matched filler and, for boards that are too damaged, the plank can be replaced. A screen-and-recoat can refresh a whole floor's finish without a full refinish.

Common questions about scratch & dent repair

Can deep scratches be removed?

Deep scratches can usually be filled so they are hard to see. For very deep ones, plank replacement may look best.

What is a screen and recoat?

It lightly abrades the old finish and adds a new coat. It refreshes the look without sanding to bare wood.

Can vinyl and laminate be repaired?

Small marks can be filled. Damaged planks may be replaced.
