Reclaimed & Exotic Wood Floors

Reclaimed wood carries its story in nail holes, saw marks and deep color that new lumber cannot copy. Exotic species bring unusual color and extreme hardness. Both need more care in selection, acclimation and installation than standard oak.

We install reclaimed and exotic wood floors for homes across Middle Tennessee, including Nashville and farm properties that want a one-of-a-kind look. We source or review the material with you, check moisture and sorting, and install and finish the floor to show off its character.

Is reclaimed wood durable?

Often yes, because it comes from mature, dense lumber. Condition varies, so we inspect it first.

Is exotic hardwood hard to install?

Many species are very hard and need pre-drilling and the right tools. We use methods made for them.

Will nail holes and marks stay?

Yes, that is part of the character. We can fill or leave them, as you prefer.
