Bamboo Flooring

Bamboo is a grass that regrows quickly, which makes it popular with owners who want a renewable floor. Strand-woven bamboo is very hard, and its clean grain gives rooms a modern, calm look.

We install bamboo flooring for homes across Middle Tennessee, including Nashville condos and updated kitchens. We check the subfloor, choose glue-down, nail-down or floating installation and finish the floor so that its seams are tight and its edges are neat.

Is bamboo harder than oak?

Strand-woven bamboo is typically harder than oak. Traditional bamboo can be softer.

Does bamboo scratch?

Like any floor it can show scratches. Strand-woven bamboo resists them better.

Is bamboo waterproof?

No. It resists spills but should not sit in standing water.
